I wear this hat so often in the summer that they start getting a bit worn. SO this is the second one of these I have bought from Village Hat Shop. The hat is perfect for summer with its SPF 50 brim and crown liner and venting. Honestly, I won't do summer without one of these.

The tightly woven cuenca weave provides great protection from the sun and the broad snap brim gives you choice of coverage and style.

I bought a Barmah foldaway hat. It looks sharp and fits well. It comes with a carrying bag ('foldaway' means it will go in a bag), which unfortunately was not delivered with the hat. I made a call to their customer service and left a message. The next day I got a friendly call to say that the bag was on the way. It arrived punctually. Great hat and nice people! *****

I love the fedora hat. My wife says I look like a Gangster. I have 4 now, may get another one.

Overall, it's a great. Sharp looking, perfect sized brim, and well made, it's a skookum hat for sure. Only downside is the the sizing is a bit inconsistent. I wear a 7 1/2 in all my other hats, but this one is pretty large. Had to stuff a bit of felt in the sweatband to make it fit right.

Love this hat! Wide brim is just what I was looking for…only thing that would make it better would be a 4” kettle crown.
