Well that was quick
My 8-year-old daughter has been afraid to take off her training wheels on her first bike for years. We decided to get her a guardian bike for having a great school year. At first she didn't have much confidence and went back to her old bike. I told her I could put training wheels on the new bike and she said no and that she would try it again. That was all it took. Within an hour she was doing small stretches all by herself. When she would get home from camp she would rush to the bike. Within a week she was confidently cruising down the street. This purchase was 100% as advertised and I would recommend Guardian bikes to anyone learning to ride a bike. Well built and it just works!
Rear wheel locked up.
After less than 10 minutes of riding, the rear wheel locked up. It is not the brake pads, feels more like the wheel bearings.
Training wheels don't work
The training wheel that goes over the brake side won't stay on no matter how hard you tighten. Poorly constructed.
