How to obtain your resident discount when booking on iberiaexpress.com

  • You can indicate this in the first step of the purchase process through our home page, marking "I am a resident" .
  • Also once you are on the Flight Availability screen, you can select it from the top menu.
  • Once you have chosen your flight, you will again have the option to mark it at the bottom of the page, in the discount area, where the message "I have a resident discount"appears.
  • Further on, on the Passenger Information screen, you will be asked for the compulsory details to apply the resident discount (type of supporting document and municipal district).
  • In order to be able to apply the resident discount through our website, all passengers in the booking must be entitled to the resident discount, i.e. they must be Spanish citizens, citizens of the other Member States of the European Union or of other signatory States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (currently Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and Switzerland, they must prove that they are residents of the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands or Ceuta and that they make journeys between their place of residence and any place in the national territory (Spain). If any of the passengers are non-residents, they must make a separate reservation.
  • The valid documentation to accredit residence in non-peninsular territories, both for Spanish citizens and citizens of the European Economic Area and Switzerland, will be the certificate of residence issued by the Town Hall where they are registered (format that appears in Royal Decree 1316/2001).
  • This certificate is valid for 6 months.
