For orders with pre-order items that require more than one shipment, the total shipping and tax charges for each shipment will be allocated proportionally to the cost of the items shipped.
Orders are processed pending item availability and payment verification. We will contact you via email if there are any issues with your order.
Please note, once orders are placed we are not responsible for typographical errors made during the checkout process.
Shipping to Freight Forwarder
In the event a freight forwarding company address has signed for a package, the freight forwarding company assumes the responsibility for the contents. The freight forwarder is accountable for the package from the time of collection from the consignor, until the time of delivery. They are liable for any loss or damage occurring to any goods or consignment. This includes, but is not limited to: loss of merchandise, physical damage, theft, any mishaps that lead to delay in delivery or any financial loss arising due to mishap. Please contact the freight forwarding company directly for further assistance.
Refusal of Delivery
If you refuse delivery of an order, the package will be returned to our warehouse. You will receive a refund for the merchandise and tax paid, but shipping charges are non-refundable.
Order and Shipping Confirmation Emails
You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been submitted into our system. Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email confirmation that will include the tracking number for your package.
You may receive several shipments in order to complete the fulfillment of your order and will receive a shipping confirmation email for all items as they are shipped.
Item Availability and Pre-Order
We make every effort to maintain sufficient stock of items on our website; however, we may run out of stock of popular items. We also work to ensure that when you place an order online, the item is available at the time of shipping. In the rare case that an item is out of stock, we will notify you via e-mail and any changes to your order will be reflected in your order total.
Your credit card or PayPal account will be charged as your items are shipped.
Pre-order items will be processed, charged, and shipped as they become available. Pre-order shipping dates are for estimation purposes only; items may ship before or after the estimated shipping date.
Payment Options
We accept the following forms of payment: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, PayPal, Klarna, Affirm, Alipay, Apple Pay, UnionPay, WeChat Pay, Theory Gift and eGift Cards.

For online payment by Credit Card, PayPal, Klarna and Affirm
The total dollar amount of your order will be authorized at the time your order is placed. The actual payment (transfer of funds) will not occur until your order ships. In the event an item(s) is canceled the order total will be adjusted and the original authorization will drop from your card statement within 1-3 business days, depending on your credit card company.
For online payment by Debit Card
The total dollar amount of your order will be authorized at the time your card is approved, which may have an effect on your account balance even though the actual payment (transfer of funds) will not occur until your order ships. In the event an item(s) is canceled the order total will be adjusted and the original authorization will drop from your card statement within 1-3 business days, depending on your credit card company.
If you order a pre-order item, we recommend that you deduct the full amount of your order from your debit card records to ensure funds are available as your items are shipped.
For online payment by Alipay, UnionPay, WeChat Pay
The total dollar amount of your order will be captured at the time your order is placed. In the event an item(s) is canceled the order total will be adjusted and a refund will be issued.
Gift and eGift Cards
Theory Gift and eGift Cards are redeemable on Theory.com or in any Theory store within the United States. Theory Gift and eGift Cards may be used in conjunction with a credit card. To redeem a Theory Gift or eGift Card on Theory.com, enter the card number along with the four-digit PIN at checkout. In the case your Gift Card does not have a PIN, please contact Theory Client Service for assistance at 1.877.242.3317 or clientservice@theory.com. A maximum of three Gift or eGift Cards can be redeemed per order.
Check Gift and eGift Cards Balance
To check the balance of your Gift/eGift Card, click Check Balance and enter the Gift Card number and four-digit PIN.
Redeeming Coupon or Promotion Codes
To redeem a coupon or promotion code,simply enter the code into the appropriate field during the billing section of the checkout process. Your order total will reflect any and all price changes.
