Take a more in depth look at our eastern Lake Huron lights. Begin with a pass under the Mighty Mac, then sail across the Straits of Mackinac to the Round Island Lighthouse and Round Island Passage Light. Turning east, we’ll pass the privately owned Bois Blanc Lighthouse and then continue on to the elusive Spectacle Reef Light and can only be viewed up close from a boat!
The cruise continues on to Poe Reef Light and Fourteen Foot Shoal Light followed by a quick trip up the Cheboygan River which takes you past the Cheboygan Crib Light and Cheboygan Front Range Light before you head back. En route, you’ll enjoy the clear blue waters of the Straits, an up-close view of the Coast Guard cutter “Mackinaw”, and plenty of maritime history narrated by one of the experts from the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association.
All Lighthouse Cruises depart from and return to Mackinaw City.
